I started when I was 18 and kept growing inside the industry. I was first as a drugstore in a small town in Canary Islands and then moved to a bigger chain of Perfume stores to later on get a position as a brand Ambassador for a luxury brand in Barcelona- Spain.
5. What inspires you?
I get inspiration from many sources, now I have on my mind an inspiration for creating makeup looks with the color purple. I chose it to be my brand color because is bold . I can get inspiration from my childhood memories, from art, music and a lot from mother nature.
6. What do you love about your work?
Making people happier, make them feel beautiful and special. I care of them.

I would love to push people to love themselves and break all those nonsense beauty standards. Beauty is what you call of it! There’s beauty in any of us. When there’s love nothing can fail.

I am now getting to know myself better. I am a brave woman, strong and fierce but as anyone else I have my flaws I’m way too hard on myself sometimes and I need to work deeper on my confidence and self-esteem. I have a healthy self-esteem but it wasn’t always like this.
9. What has happened in your life in the last few years? How has it changed you?
The last few years I had deal with a lot of things, moving to a foreign country alone is a big step. It affected my mental health negatively but I feel I grew a lot and evolved . I decided to be happy and moved into the right direction. I feel complete and satisfied with myself. I’m constantly growing and learning.
10. What is your mission in life?
My biggest mission wasn’t this clear before, but know I can say it. Help POC and I know through my job I can help and a lot. The beauty industry diminishes constantly the value of black women, the beauty standards are far from being inclusive even though is better than when I started in the field which I couldn’t find something simple as a makeup base of my shade. I still see there’s a lot to be done for POC. We need to embrace our blackness and change the perception and lies told to the entire world. All hair is good hair and black is beautiful.
11. What are your dreams for the future?
I dream of my name being pronounce as a motivator for empowerment for POC.
12. What is your advice to those that are afraid to listen to their heart?
There is NOT a more trustful voice than the one that comes from your heart.
